Serious health risks for those in bad marriages

A bad marriage can put a large amount of stress on both partners, and also increases the risk of serious health problems including heart disease, stroke, cancer, lung ailments and cirrhosis of the liver. Suicide is also a risk.
Personal problems can also spill over into the working day.
This is the conclusion of a study undertaken by researchers at Brandeis University and University College London.
