One ‘tip’ I’d add is to listen to your date. Take an interest in her (you are on a date, after all, so you must like her). Don’t spend all evening talking about yourself. Ask her questions, be interested in her answers, and use that for further conversation (ie don’t ignore her answers and talk about something else instead).
