Kylie Minogue has announced that she may not be able to conceive, following the treatments she received for breast cancer.
It must be tough when you’ve got so much money and (presumably) so many people you need to invite to a wedding.
Simon Cowell’s way of sorting this out is to have four weddings, according to his brother Tony.
Cowell and fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy will have ceremonies in Los Angeles, Hollywood, Barbados and… Brighton, with the pop mogul’s mother Julie assisting with arrangements.
Just imagine having to plan four ceremonies. It’s stressful enough sorting one out, but then when you have that much cash presumably you outsource a lot of the arrangements and preparations.
No date for the wedding, in any location, has been publicly revealed yet.
Recent reports suggest that family-friendly Disney is about to make Cheryl Cole their new face, allowing her to follow in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
The Daily Mirror reports “Cheryl is the full package. She’s got it all – brains, beauty, and a hint of bolshyness. It’s unbelievable the amount of interest she stirred up in the Disney Studios following her recent trips to Los Angeles, where she was making a music video.
“That ‘Parachute’ video with Derek Hough, who is massive in the States because of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, really showed just how graceful and dynamic she can be.”
What do you reckon? Is Cheryl a good fit for Disney?
Brits may not recognise the name Larry King, unless they are avid fans of American chat shows, but the talking point here is just how many wives he has got through.
News today suggests that he is ready to divorce his seventh wife (and in fact has filed for divorce eight times).
In fact, with his seventh wife Shawn Southwick he’s done rather well as (celebrity) marriages go — managing 13 years and having two sons with her.
However, it all sounds pretty acrimonious now, with reports that King is petitioning a judge not to award 50-year-old Southwick spousal support or transfer of property to her.
He’s also seeking joint custody of the kids, while his wife wants sole custody.
The guy is getting on a bit, though, and as Southwick was only 28 years his junior, perhaps he’s looking for a younger model to take him into his octogenarian years.
You don’t have to look far in celebrity world to find the next divorce statistic, and you’d probably be assured of a dead cert where Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren are concerned.
Woods may have returned to golf, but the notable absence of his wife must’ve sent the alarm bells into overdrive.
US news show Entertainment Tonight has reported that Nordegren is close to filing for divorce.
“For weeks now there have been rumours that Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren might reconcile and save their marriage,” reported correspondent Kevin Frazier.
“It was believed by going to sex rehab that Tiger had done just enough to keep his family together. But sources have told me that the marriage is indeed over.”
It turns out that the near-ubiquitous prenuptial agreement that every celebrity couple now arranges before the wedding day has worked in savvy Sandra Bullock’s favour.
Perhaps you’d expect the potential breakup of Sandra and husband Jesse James to net him a handsome chunk of her fortune, but the fact is that he messed about with another woman (women) — something expressly forbidden not only by the marriage vows but also by the pre-nup.
When you can’t stay faithful — five times — to your wife and still expect something in return, you’re deluding yourself.
Controversial comedian Russell Brand and singer Katy Perry have announced their engagement while on holiday in India on New Year’s Eve.
According to The Sun newspaper, their relationship was blessed by a “love guru”. The couple have since been celebrating in Thailand.
Perry, 25, said of their relationship, “The wonderful thing is we both have our own kind of separate talents, careers and lives and we really respect each other”.
Katie and Peter
Rumours surrounding Katie Price and Peter Andre continue regarding what led the couple to split.
One thing seems certain: the newspapers won’t leave this alone, even suggesting that they have an intimate knowledge of the couple’s sex life.
Jennifer Aniston/Bradley Cooper
Reports suggest that Bradley Cooper is very flattered to have been romantically linked to Jennifer Aniston, even though the rumours are completely untrue.
“My mom loves it, but, unfortunately, it’s not true,” Cooper said.

Jennifer Lopez tackles whooping cough
Jennifer Lopez has teamed up with March of Dimes in a US national awareness campaign about pertussis (whooping cough).
The new initiative focuses on educating new parents and their families about pertussis, a highly contagious and potentially deadly disease for infants. The campaign’s centerpiece is a series of television and radio public service announcements (PSAs) featuring Ms Lopez that are available in both English and Spanish. The PSAs, scheduled to begin airing nationally this month, encourage new and expectant parents to help protect their babies by making sure that anyone who is, or will be, in close contact with a young infant has been vaccinated against pertussis.
Van Outen and Lee Mead marry
Denise Van Outen has married Lee Mead, the star of West End hit musical “Joseph”. They first met when Van Outen judged the show to find the next star of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s stage show.
Denise was previously engaged to Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay.
Salma Hayek renews marriage vows
Actress Salma Hayek has renewed her marriage vows to Francois-Henri Pinault, just two months after they wed.
The couple had previously been engaged in 2007 but called it off in 2008.
Actress Kym Marsh and partner Jamie Lomas have lost their baby son, named Archie Jay, when he died moments after his 18-week premature birth.
Kym said, “Archie is our beautiful angel and we will miss him so much.”
There’s little more that one can say in a situation like this. The couple must surely be devastated at the loss. Our thoughts and good wishes are with them, as indeed with any parents who have lost a child in these circumstances.
Ritchie is worried that Madonna’s latest pictures may embarrass their children.
Guy Ritchie is reported to have told Madonna that he thinks her recent intimate photo shoot will embarrass their three kids.
The 50-year-old singer has been shown posing with model Jesus Luz. Ritchie is said to be “shocked”, saying that their kids could get a hard time at school.
According to a source close to the separated couple “Madonna had a total meltdown about it, not only because she’s strict on what kind of media and external influences the children should be exposed to but because she hates Guy commenting on what she does as an artist.”
Interestingly, though, Ritchie is also concerned that the children aren’t better prepared for the real world because of Madonna’s strict rules that don’t allow them to watch TV.
Ritchie doesn’t want Lourdes, Rocco and David to grow up in a “bubble”, according to the source. Letting them watch TV would then allow Ritchie to discuss and help them understand what they see.
What do you think? Is Ritchie right to be upset?

Actress mum Tori Spelling has put her name behind a new campaign to encourage parents and kids to easier, more fun potty training.
This year, some six million parents in the US will begin potty training their toddlers, and while this is exciting it can also be quite intimidating.
To celebrate her almost two-year-old son Liam’s potty training debut, and help families across the country say farewell to diapers, Tori has teamed up with Pull-Ups training pants to groove to the Potty Dance – the new toddler dance craze introduced by the Pull-Ups brand – to help motivate her son to success.
“Liam is growing up so fast, including his growing interest in the potty,” said Spelling. “While as a mom it’s bittersweet to watch my little boy grow up, we want to applaud this big moment with an activity he’s already crazy for – dancing. I’ve partnered with the Pull-Ups brand to kick-off Liam’s potty training with a celebration I know he will love, and an activity I know will keep me positive, the Potty Dance.”
