Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe attend marriage counselling

Oscar nominee Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she and her actor husband Ryan Philippe have attended marriage counselling.

The couple who have two children and two careers have admitted that they sometimes need help keeping their marriage on track.

Speaking to Grazia magazine the ‘Walk The Line’ star said: “Sure we’ve had counselling. But it’s healthy to deal with problems that come up when you’re living with another human being and forging your lives together.

“We see our marriage not as a free ride but as a partnership you work on.

You need to discuss things and be open about how to make each other feel good and happy.”
