Modern-day living costs families

A new study suggests that families are suffering because they do not spend enough time together.

The MORI study shows that 32% of families never take the time to meet together, and 66% do not meet regularly, and often less than once a month. 7% of families meet just once a year.

Clare Scott Dryden, founder of Childalert, an organisation which promotes the health and wellbeing of children, said, “Family communication is the key to supporting and understanding individual needs. So often family members pass like ships in the night, especially as children get older and because more and more families have two working parents.”
